In late 2015, both Eddie Guerrero and Dean Malenko were inducted into the Hardcore Hall of Fame at the former ECW Arena during a House of Hardcore event. “The Shooter” Dean Malenko only spent a little more than full year within ECW, but the matches he had against the likes of Eddie Guerrero and 2 Cold Scorpio helped Dean find his way into World Championship Wrestling in late 1995.
Regardless of the short time-frame, the ECW Arena is where Malenko cut his teeth and the legendary matches “The Shooter” had against Eddie Guerrero helped develop the Extreme Championship Wrestling promotion into what it became famous for.
