SET OF WCW KEVIN NASH, GOLDBERG, AND STING DOLLIES BY ???
Final Auction Bid – $62.00
These insane three-foot tall plushies are one of those items that I’ve only seen a handful of times but never been able to figure out much on them. They were most likely put out in mid-to-late 1999 based on one design not featured above (keep reading), but by who? Where were they sold?? Why are they so big??? I asked the eBay seller if they could recall where these were originally purchased from, but sadly hit an immediate dead-end. This lot was pulled from their grandma’s basement, and they had no real details on when/where Maw Maw got them.
Tags included on these dolls mention that they’re imported in by Baby Boom Consumer Products with an additional safety warning to NOT stick these cursed things in with your infant in their crib/bassinet. This doesn’t mean specifically that these were meant for babies, just could be a generic safety label for all similar items. Then again, maybe they were meant to decorate your child’s room and sold at fabric shops back in the late 90’s? I never saw these in person and hated going to Michaels with my mom, so please, feel free to comment and set the record straight on what the hell these are.
I did make a pass at getting all three with my bid set at $60.00, but due to a crippling inability to stay up past 10:00 p.m. these days, they ended up falling out of my hands for merely $2.00 more. I’m sure this lot would’ve skyrocketed quickly between myself and the mystery buyer if I had that drive to fight for a 3-ft Stinger, but ultimately, I lost. The auction winner got lucky ended up with one hell of a deal.
The only other design from this series that I have seen before is the Macho Man Randy Savage doll, depicting his 1999 look which I believe we have all lovingly dubbed his “Midlife Crisis” Era:

There is one currently on eBay with the BUY IT NOW price set at $115.95, so if you want one, he is out there. It’s also labeled as a WWF Macho King Wrestling Buddy, not sure if they’d be the one to solve this mystery for me.
Sound off in the comments or DMs if you can remember seeing these out there. I’d like to know where these were sold at.
UPDATE #1: Thanks to the help from the Wrestling Figure Database site, we now have two more photos that give us some additional info. A clear shot of the tag shows the maker as Interior Consumer Products, copyright year 1999. These dolls were officially branded as Cuddle Pillows™.

We also have a look at another design, this one depicting “White Thunder” Scott Steiner:

Not exactly the Big Poppa Pump you’d expect (thought he was Lodi from Raven’s Flock there for a second), but it’s him alright. A commenter from Instagram recalls getting their figures at Bed, Bath, and Beyond back in the day and said they also have a Diamond Dallas Page one as well. Holding out hope that we can update again with DDP and potentially close this out. I would not be surprised if a Bret Hart or Hollywood Hogan Cuddle Pillow exists either, so I’ll see what else I can dig up.

UPDATE #2: The World of Wrestling FigureNation Twitter account shared with me photos of their WCW Cuddle Pillow collection, and sent over a photo of the Diamond Dallas Page doll!
