Released in late 1998/early 1999, this set captures the most popular World Championship Wrestling timeframe within the Monday Night War. Sure WCW had already started to lose the ratings battle but overall, the wrestling business was booming and both promotions were doing numbers that far exceeded what they had the previous year. Great looking cards with actual fun bios on each one — definitely worth reading. Who knew Saturn was such a Grease nerd!
For those of you who are wondering, the Nitro #1 card was nothing more than a checklist for everything in the series. Not worth much.
Each pack had a sticker too. IIRC, there was a sticker and short summary of each PPV from ’98.
Have the card set, complete sticker set is a bit tougher to get.
